Effective Immediately, all Star and Life Scout Rank Advancement Scoutmaster Conference the follow procedure must be followed. All other rank advancement procedure remain the same.
1. Prior to scheduling the Scoutmaster Conference, the Scout , must request from the Record Advancement Chair his current scout history.
2. The scout is responsible to make sure the requirements are fulfilled (time in grade, leadership months, community service hours and merit badge earned) at the time of his Scoutmaster Conference.
3. If there are clarifications or changes that need to be made, the scout needs to contact the Record Advancement Chair and resolve the issue. Once the issues have been resolved, the scout can request a Scoutmaster Conference.
4. The scout history must be presented to the Scoutmaster at the time of his Scoutmaster Conference.
NOTE:
A. Troop records do not track service hours. The scout is responsible to track and present the hours t the Scoutmaster.
B. Troop records do not track the number of camping nights. The scout is responsible to track and present the number of nights to the camping merit badge chair.
